Carly Freeman has come on board with Ontario's Highlands Tourism Organization as the region’s Social Media Brand Ambassador to support the summer campaign.

Armed with a map, an iPad and a hashtag, Carly is hitting the road this summer, taking part in a “Great Escape” trip that will change the way first-time-visitors engage with our region’s summer tourism offering. Carly’s road trip is kicking off this Victoria Day long weekend from her home town of Madoc and will continue each weekend of the summer where she will be exploring every corner of the region, sharing photos, videos, social media updates and blog posts about her “Great Escape”. She will be showcasing the region’s rural hospitality, vast breadth of summer experiences and unique stories hidden in the nooks and crannies of our communities.
